| | I am a christian and could not define myself without God.I was born Catholic but do not espouse those views now-i have a more evangelical/biblical view now.I have been a christian for at least 14 years-when can one say ones commitment was first a genuine one-cant put a date or event to it.I read and studied the bible a lot myself from the ages of 15-19 and wrote books for myself from my study-i always believed a core truth to be there and that study helped me discover this.What has helpled me mature as a christian is fully understanding the concept of grace and realising that God accepts me for who i am and i didnt have to be some sort of christian stereotyped robot but that God welcomes my individuality(profound prayer experiences i learnt this).I have attended St Johns Anglican church at Camden where i used to live until about 18 months ago(having moved then to Corrimal,Wollongong).Also Narwee baptist church and St.Matthias church at Uni of New South Wales.I served in ways at ST Johns.
Reading is my favourite pasttime-all types although especially classics but i feel any sort of reading is admirable.Enjoy fiction and non-fiction alike.A few fave authors are Dickens,Austen,Dostoevsky,Eco-there are dozens.Non-fiction subjects of interest include genetics,cloning,ethics, psychology, sport,crime,languages, religion. I think reading engenders a more open thinking outlook and it means you can get ideas and info from all sorts of sources.
I also enjoy sport especially cricket which i love and play.Also pool,rugby league and basketball,soccer.I play piano and drums for fun.Musically my tastes are very diverse-most things other than factory produced sugar coated formulaic Top 40.I enjoy alternative,indi,classical, jazz,rap,metal, punk, instrumental.
Faves include Tool (fave band), Jeff Buckley, Joe Satriani, Placebo, Julie Cruise(twin peaks music) ,Rage Against the Machine, Miles Davis, and many many lesser known.Movies i guess my tastes are alternative movies,weird,arthouse,independent or anything of quality that evokes thought or emotion.Also like crosswords,backgammon.
I particularly enjoy challenging myself mentally-i am one for open intelligent thought and discussion and am someone who is really tolerant of others opinions and i enjoy disagreement and happily arguing a point whilst respecting other viewpoints.I believe if you are constantly learning or trying to learn that is very healthy.I am the sort of person who is never bored and i have many pursuits and life is too open to be bored or aimless.I really relish being relaxed and appreciate that sort of atmosphere.
I am an ultra honest person and dislike deceptions and duplicitous people.With me-if theres ever a problem i will say it.I will never walk away without at least having tried to resolve a problem with someone whos opinion i care about-besdies ive found its much easier to confront a difficulty when it first happens.With me-you know if i havent said theres a problem-then you KNOW theres not one.I can be totally serious and deep or i can be a total idiot mucking around-i try to have humility too-grace helps with that-try to have integrity and not knowingly be a hypocrite.
I am the sort of person who likes outdoor settings rather than nightclubs and probably have a few close friends rather than heaps of acquaintances and prefer smaller groups to big ones.I like bushwalking and the beach-where i have just moved-i am really blessed-i am say 1 minute bike ride from the beach(to the east) and about a kilometre to the west is bush and national park galore.Ive been to most lovely spots in Sydney-like La Perouse, Waverton, Kurnell, dozens of places on the harbour in parks and ferry rides like Balmain,Balls head reserve,Bradleys head(near zoo)etc.Have easy access to Sydney as i stay there every week in Sans Souci area.
I have a Bach of Applied Science(Mathematics) with a double major in Statistics and one in operations research.Though why i did it ill never know since i love literature so much.LOL
Now i work in financial markets-in Futures and share Trading.Work from home mos of the time.For 8 years-between 18-26 years of age i owned and managed my transport company. I have always worked for myself and enjoy it-setting ones own hours.

1-What do ants perceive?
2-Will time travel ever be possible?
3-Environment vs nature-which predominates?(if either)
4-Free will vs predestination
5-Why do clowns amuse me so and why does ronald Mcdoanld have to wear big red shoes?
6-Why are some drugs arbitrarily deemed illegal whilst others are promoted?
7-Why do i ask so many questions?
8-How can some people think they have a monopoly on truth?

I would like to meet an open minded non-fundamentalist thinking christian woman who can accept others points of view and who is open to new ideas.Someone who is affectionate, pleased with simple pleasures, someone who is a reader, a heart for Christ, a non materialist , who is committed to finding their life partner.Different views, interests are welcomed, diversity of opinion is great.Someone who has no pretensions, is honest to the bone ,enjoys quiet relaxed atmosphere especially outdoors and is intelligent.
